Spud Carriers
VOSTA LMG delivers 4 different kinds of spud carrier systems for new and existing ships. Every system has its own advantages and we can support the customer with a fit-to-purpose spud carrier system solution. If the carrier system needs to be flexible for dredging in waves, or stiff-to-handle hard rocks or a combination we can deliver the system.
Spud Hoisting System
VOSTA LMG delivers a range of standard spud hoisting systems for new and existing cutter suction dredgers. Our standard spud hoisting systems are designed for spuds with a weight from 3 ton up to 125 ton and have a free-fall function for good grip of the spud in the ground.
Spud Tilting
Our spud tilting systems make it possible to tilt the spud to reduce the draft and the air draft to be able to pass fixed bridges. Depending at the size of the spud and the customer requirements the spud can be tilted with a hydraulic cylinder, a manual operated tackle or an electric tackle.
Spuds
VOSTA LMG offers standard dredging spuds for positioning cutter suction dredgers. The dredging spuds are optimized for strength, material and weight. The spuds are suitable for free-fall and can be used as fixed spuds or on a spud carrier.
