VOSTA LMG has a long history of supplying cutting wheel dredgers and cutting wheels for dredgers. Our double-wheeled symmetric cutting wheels are designed for mining and soil excavation. Due to the rotation direction the wheel can be optimized for spillage reduction or high production. The wheels can be delivered with the VOSTA LMG patented cutting teeth.
Electric Line
Electric-driven cutting wheels are driven with an underwater electric motor and a robust gear box. The electric motors can be driven at the classic way or by frequency drive to nicely control the speed from min till max rpm. The electric-powered cutting wheels are available from 500 kW up to 2000 kW.
Hydraulic Line
Hydraulic-driven cutting wheels are direct driven by a robust high-torque low-speed hydraulic underwater motor. With this compact direct-driven hydraulic motor speed can be nicely controlled from min till max rpm. The hydraulic-powered cutting wheels are available from 30 kW up to 750 kW.
