VOSTA LMG is the leading global innovator, designer and manufacturer of cutter heads in the range of 22 kW up to 8,000 kW and for soil varying from sticky clay to rock with UCS up to 120 Mpa. The cutter heads can be tailor made to customer requirements or selected from the wide range of models available. The cutter heads are equipped with in-house-developed and patented cutting systems.
D/SC-System
The older-type cutter heads continue to be favored by many users, especially due to the large installed base. They are suitable for capacities from 70 kW up to 4000 kW.
Refit / Upgrade
VOSTA LMG can improve the performance of most (old) cutter heads by installing the T-system, re-shape the cutter body if necessary and position the adapters based on the latest expertise. The investment will earn itself back quickly. This can be done anywhere under the supervision of a VOSTA LMG expert.
T-System
The patented T-series tooth system is a heavy-duty cutting system that meets modern demands for economy, safety and ergonomics. For the economy of the T-series, this means the lowest cost per m3 (yd3) excavated due to minimal rest. The T-Series teeth range is fabricated from hardened steel and is subject to a strict quality control to guarantee a perfect fitting into the adapter. For safe exchange of cutter teeth, the T-Series has a special hammerless locking system that ensures a safe handling of cutter teeth.
TSC04-System
For cutter power lower than 170kW and non-rocky soils, VOSTA LMG offers the highly successful TSC04 cutter heads, with teeth directly mounted onto the blades without the need for expensive adapters. Due to its maintenance-free fit and completely free cutting design, it offers years of operation with almost zero maintenance.
