Bottom Discharge Valves

The bottom valves are steel circular constructions, that are vertically mounted in the hopper area. Its main part is the valve disc, which is a cone-shaped steel part with a rubber seal mounted in the bottom of the hull.

The bottom valve is operated by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder.

The bottom side of the valve is fitted flush with the bottom of the ship's hull structure.

The bottom discharge valve can be offered in 2 variants, one with a diameter of 3,300 mm and one with a diameter of 4,000 mm.
