Applications in Dredging Operations

VOSTA LMG delivers suction mouths that are used in different types of dredgers, including:

• Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD). In CSDs, the suction mouth is positioned directly behind the cutter head, where it captures loosened material that has been cut and agitated by the cutter.
• Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD). TSHDs use a suction mouth attached to the drag arm, which is lowered to the seabed to collect materials as the vessel moves forward.
