Sliding Piece
VOSTA LMG offers innovative sliding pieces for heavy-duty operation, designed to support the load of the entire side suction pipe.
The sliding piece allows the side suction pipe to be lowered below the waterline before the suction opening in the hull. The trunnion bend is fixed in the sliding piece with a machined flange and can rotate freely with the side suction pipe.
The standard range of the sliding piece is from DN 600 to DN 1000 mm.
Other suction diameters and jet water diameters can be designed upon request.
