Side-Wire & Sheave Blocks
VOSTA LMG side-wire & sheave blocks are designed to meet the rugged environments a cutter dredger normally encounters. This tumbling block is a balanced steel construction, which will always pivot to align to the direction of the side wire. For the smaller types, the blocks are pivoted using grease-lubricated bronze bushes, which are easy to maintain or replace. For larger types we use ball bearing. The cable sheave has a hardened groove and a watertight encased bearing.The diameter of the sheave is extra-large, in order to reduce wear on the cable.
Sheave Blocks
VOSTA LMG delivers sheave blocks for hoisting applications above and under water. Blocks can be executed with slack-wire devises so that wires stay in the grove. For above and under water execution bronze bearings as well as roller bearings can be chosen.
Sheaves
VOSTA LMG offers sheaves in casted and welded design, with or without bearing and in several sizes. We offer all kinds of sheaves for dredge facilities, including: Guide Sheaves, Ladder-hoisting Sheaves above and underwater, Spud-hoisting Sheaves, Anchor-hoisting Sheaves and Sheaves in gantries for suction pipes.
Side-Wire Blocks
VOSTA LMG side-wire blocks are developed with customers feedback till a frictionless swivel concept. The blocks are easy to mount and can be balanced with counter ballast. The side-wire swivel blocks are made for underwater execution in an sandy environment.
