VOSTA LMG’s anchor booms are designed to reposition the side anchors of the dredge without the assistance of a work boat. The VOSTA LMG anchor booms are available in a standard range for hoisting forces from 3ton @ 9m till 40ton @ 30m. Other types or sizes are available on request.
Anchor Booms
We deliver two different anchor boom systems. The first system is optimized for simplicity and falls automatically back when the anchor is dropped and goes forward when the weight of the anchor is hoisted. The second system has next to the hoisting winch also a gay winch that will pull the anchor boom back after the anchor is dropped. Both systems makes is possible to keep the anchor hoisting wire out of the cutter area to prevent the anchor hoisting wire from being dredged up.
