VOSTA LMG has a range of tools to hoist and handle cutters. Some of the tools are patented. The tools vary from simple hand-operated tools till pneumatic or electric operated remote-controlled cutter tilting tools.
Cutter Hoisting Tool
This tool is useful when the cutter head is equipped with a grab ring in the top of the hub. It is suitable for transporting cutter heads with CL in a vertical position.
Cutter Lifting and Tilting Tool
When the cutter head is equipped with a grab ring this tool can be used for safely lifting and tilting the cutter head. For tilting a support hook has to be integrated on a suitable place on the dredger.
Cutter Lifting Pins
This patented solution is used for lifting the cutter head with its CL vertically or horizontally. With some guidance, it can also be used to smoothly tilt the cutter heads CL. The pin can be used for any cutter head as users only need to drill a hole through the blade.
Cutter Repair Frames
A good repair frame on which the cutter head can rotate against a template is essential to ensuring proper positioning. Especially when working in hard rock conditions, this is important for ensuring a good load distribution for maximum productivity and controlled vibrations. Easy transportable because it fits into 20’ container.
