Sales Manager (40hr/wk)

Who are we?
VOSTA LMG is a leading supplier of dredge equipment and systems. We operate out of Hoofddorp (The Netherlands) and Lübeck (Germany) with a team of specialists, from where we serve a variety of clients worldwide. To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a Sales Manager operating out of our Hoofddorp office.

Who are you?
You are not shy and enjoy taking on a challenge. You are a team player, flexible and like to fulfil designated tasks. You have experience in the sales role, preferably with a background in the dredging/maritime industry. Candidates with relevant technical experience will be prioritized. You live in The Netherlands, in the area of Hoofddorp/Amsterdam.

Profile
* Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management
* HBO/university level of thinking
* Fluent in Dutch and English
* A solid technical background
* Experienced in the marine industry, preferably in dredging
* An analytical thinker
* Reliable and no-nonsense
* Pro-active and self propelled
* Willing to travel (worldwide) on a regular basis
* Willing to learn
* Living in the Hoofddorp/Amsterdam area

Your job entails:
* Perform pro-active sales outreach
* Make phonecalls to introduce our products to local companies in countries worldwide. You should feel comfortable  making calls, and introducing our company to potential new partners
* Generate and maintain target lists and leads while simultaneously creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers
* Visiting/contacting customers on a regular basis
* Follow-up on commercial opportunities and official tenders
