VOSTA LMG T6 Cutter Head
Fabrication of a VOSTA LMG T6 cutter head in process, designed, engineered and built in-house at our workshop in China.
This stage shows the T6 cutter head on the cutter head manipulator. The manipulator allows almost all welding in flat position by turning the cutterhead into such a position that the face of the weld is approximately horizontal. In this way, proper and quality welding is achieved avoiding irregularities. Built for dredgers with cutting power between 6,000 and 8,000 horsepower, the T6 cutter head is engineered to tackle challenging soils ranging from sand to hard rock.
