Side suction installations

VOSTA LMG has delivered two side suction installations, including the complete dredge automation, monitoring and control system, for a new 5,000 m3 trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Galveston Island, at the yard of Great Lakes Dredge and Dock in the USA. Our thanks go to Conrad Industries for the great cooperation in this project!
The two systems include:
- Gantries, winches and complete side suction pipe
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) monitoring, control and automation system
- Commissioning at the yard in the USA
